From the Scripture of Reason

Articles and essays Mohammad Mohaq has written over recent years, gathered here — an attempt, however slight he judges it, at a reason-led reading of religion and religious categories, written against the feverish run of events in Afghanistan. He regards the pages as work in the direction of religious enlightenment, and sets aside the question of how right or wrong they are, which readers and critics will settle differently. What he wants is a jolt: enough of one to crack the stagnation around us, which at present produces nothing but the repetition of what has already been said. Text in Dari/Persian.
