The Ancient Supremacy

The first Persian translation of Jonathan L. Lee's The Ancient Supremacy, published in English by Brill in 1996. Kabul Books spent close to a decade bringing translator, author and the historian Dr. Mohiuddin Mahdi together over the text: Mohammad Kazem Kazemi edited it, and the author's representative checked the final Persian against the English original line by line. A dense work of history, thick with personalities, place names and episodes that have had little coverage in Persian. Text in Dari/Persian.
