My Grandfather's Radio

Khadija Haidari writes about the people around her and how they carry what has happened to them. Aunt Shamsia did not shed a single tear telling the story of her son's death: she was calm, and told it the way anyone tells an ordinary story. It was only when she went to stand up that the narrator noticed she could no longer straighten her back. Text in Dari/Persian.
