A Few Words on the Origins of Islam: Muhammad and the Caliphate

Hela Ouardi puts two questions at the front of this book and pursues them through the early history of Islam and the caliphate: whether Islam is compatible with modernity, and whether the violence done in its name is a deviation produced by extreme fanaticism or something written into the religion itself. Translated into Dari/Persian.
