The Cemetery on the Hilltop

A novel by Ruyin Rahnawesh whose prevailing atmosphere stands, by his own account, as a metaphor for life in Eshkashem, the district he comes from — or, as he puts it another way, parts of the book are stitched together out of their pains. He dedicates it to them, and to everyone who is condemned and shut out for being good. Text in Dari/Persian.
