A Plate of Musical Sorrow

Verse by Rajab Rezwan, written out of a hatred of displacement and of distance from life, and out of the dread that follows the feeling of having no choice. The poems step outside the frame of held-back tears and worry to curse the beards of the sheikhs and the constables, and damn the last year of the republic. Text in Dari/Persian.
