Social Organization of the Tajiks of Andarab Valley, Afghanistan

Dr. Jitendra Pal Singh's study of the social structure of the Persian-speaking farmers and herders of Andarab, a mountain district of the central Hindu Kush with a population of some 33,000 — geographically and administratively a single unit, and traditionally Muslim.
