The Friendship of the Fox and the Stork

A fable retold by Dr. Mohiuddin Mahdi, in the old manner: they have related that a fox kept his den near a marsh and made his living thereabouts, hunting birds and reptiles. As it happened, that same marsh was the feeding ground of a stork — an elderly one, and exceedingly shrewd. Text in Dari/Persian.
