The Garden of Marigolds

A collection of ghazals by Abdul Fahim Farand, written from a distance that the verse keeps measuring: an orange grove a hundred leagues off, a garden of marigolds standing behind the night, the bright village of the angels of light a day's travel away. On the dust roads of the present there is nothing but a crowd of beggars and roads brimming with the feet of men with no choice. Text in Dari/Persian.
