Under the Shadow of the Sabres

The second volume of Hela Ouardi's five-book sequence The Cursed Caliphs (al-Khulafā' al-Malʿūnūn). Working from the oldest Muslim narrations and histories, she reconstructs the reigns of the four successors to the Prophet of Islam closely enough to set that distant period moving in front of the reader. Translated into Dari/Persian.
