Loose in the Wind

Soraya Baha opens on the sea: the unruly waves she used to watch breaking into one another in a storm. What she had not expected was that the flash of lightning with the thunder's cry behind it would score fiery furrows across the thick curtain of shadows, and break the stone wall of doubt — that blackest veil of all.
